Electronic music

During quarantine I was messing around with Ableton Live, mainly interested by youtubers like Andrew Wong. Eventually I got a small and cheap midi keyboard that came with Ableton Live Lite.

After messing around for a while I decided to get a used Akai MPK261 off of ebay. The MPK261 is a 61-key midi keyboard with a drum pad. I was really excited when it showed up as you can see:

i was jamming right out of the box. Later I plugged it in and it got way better.

It made working with Ableton Live a lot more fun for me. Here is what my workspace looked like before I got a stand.

I ended up using this keyboard to go through half of a music theory textbook and make these rad jams. I’m quite aware I have a ways to go before people want to hear my music.

While I’m pasting soundcloud links, might as well show a few things I made with an OP-1
